Don started his real estate career in 1985. In 1991, he opened Don Martin Realty, Inc. with the philosophy that “all we sell is service”. To be the best, we must earn a reputation of integrity built on honesty and always strive to gain unparallel knowledge of our industry. It is his belief that “we must put the needs of those we serve in front of our own, to realize our own true potential”. Exercising this philosophy, the company grew quickly and became the industry leader in the Wildwoods where it remains today.

While attending school Don worked the trades. With the knowledge he gained from his labor, he partnered with Jim Brophy to start a development company and together they built and rehabilitated several projects in the Wildwoods. This has proven beneficial to the DMR Property Management division of Don Martin Realty, Inc. Do not be surprised to see Don with tools in hand taking on tasks that other management companies would contract out to higher priced labor. Should the need arise to bring in outside contractors, Don has worked with most and knows who is reliable and competitive.

It was Don’s integrity and commitment to working hard that had others seek him out for public service. Although local politics was not for Don, he earned the respect of his peers and developed long lasting relationships. A man of his word, they know they can rely on Don to do what he says he will do.

Don directly oversees the DMR Property Management division. He has put together a seasoned staff that shares in his philosophy and commitment to be the best. Recognizing the mistakes of the other management companies, Don purposely restricts the growth of the management division to insure that our current clients receive what they contracted for, the best management services available.
